Job Summary:
AvL Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled RMA Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating, repairing, and documenting returned systems and components to ensure they meet our high standards of quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform hands-on inspections, evaluations, and repairs of returned systems and parts.
- Provide detailed reports of required parts, labor, and estimated completion using our internal Customer Service database.
- Conduct accurate root cause analysis and communicate preventive measures across departments.
- Create and manage MRB (Material Review Board) investigations and coordinate warranty part resolutions.
- Follow specific RMA evaluation and repair guidelines and check sheets.
- Ensure all RMAs are properly labeled, verified, and meet quality standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure tools and calibrations are up to date.
- Coordinate repair schedules to meet deadlines and customer expectations.
- Be available for off-hours work based on customer needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Experience with antennas or cable installation
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
- Basic mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting with electrical components, routers or networking equipment
- 2 years electronics assembly or cable harness experience
- Certified or ability to become certified in AvL’s BASIC Customer Interface
- Knowledge of or ability to become proficient at integration, calibration and final test
