PURPOSE OF JOB
SALI a JTC Company is looking to expand our Reports Department team. The Reports team is responsible for capturing data and information for the SALI organization while working closely with the Accounting Department and external parties.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Primarily responsible for the on-going development and maintenance of a data software system, Canoe, used to capture financial data for private investment funds
- Entering information to support accounting team allowing for successful monthly and quarterly close process.
- Responsible for distributing information and data to various internal and external parties and keeping all parties updated on the close process.
- Assist the accounting team with missing data or any discrepancies and updating and capturing information as needed.
- Capture data Salesforce, Intralinks and SharePoint as required.
- Assist with Audit & Tax Deadlines by tracking information received and reaching out for missing documents for Investment Funds.
- Participate in team projects, assignments, and other responsibilities such as continual process improvement and data integrity.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in financial services, accounting, or a related field.
- Experience using, or a demonstrated ability to quickly learn, third-party financial or business software systems.
- A number-oriented individual, accounting reconciliation experience.
- Strong attention to detail and numeric keystroke accuracy. Ability to work in a fast paced, high-volume environment.
- Effectively work in a team environment but also able to work independently.
- Able to communicate effectively internally and externally.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing work priorities and assignments and ability to meet deadlines.
