Hope House is a Christ-centered transitional housing program for men overcoming homelessness, addiction, and crisis. Operated by Marked For Life Ministries, our mission is to provide structure, dignity, and the love of Christ to every man who walks through our doors.
We're currently seeking a dependable and ministry-minded Resident Assistant to help us maintain a safe, clean, and structured environment at Hope House. This is a full-time, boots-on-the-ground role that combines leadership, general labor, and overnight supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the property during overnight and weekend shifts
- Conduct security rounds and ensure all doors and grounds are secure (training provided)
- Support residents with medication check-ins (non-dispensing role)
- Complete daily logs, incident reports, and shift documentation
- Clean and maintain RA apartment and shared spaces (kitchen, laundry, common areas)
- Rotate laundry, manage resident transitions, and support room resets
- Be available by phone during overnight hours for emergency/crisis intake
- Uphold strong boundaries and follow all SOPs for safety and professionalism
Schedule:
- 40 hours per week
- Includes rotating weekends
- Sleeping is permitted during overnight shifts, but RAs must remain responsive
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must pass a drug screening and background check
- Prior experience in ministry, housing, security, or general labor preferred
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and walk property for rounds
- Calm, clean, and Christlike demeanor
- Strong sense of accountability, integrity, and discretion

Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour
