Residential Care LVN

California Care Recovery is looking for Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs). The ideal candidate will provide care to our patients while ensuring adherence to established standards. We are hiring qualified Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) for our detox and residential facility in Mission Viejo, CA, as well as for our mental health services in San Juan Capistrano. MUST HAVE NO PAST CRIMINAL RECORD

Responsibilities:

• Assure quality care by adhering to standards set by the physicians
• Provide care education to patients in person or over the phone
• Adhere to compliance guidelines throughout processes (OSHA, FDA, HIPAA)
• Document the client's status, CIWA/COWS, and vital signs in the EMR; observe each client's self-administration of medications.
• Monitor, document, and complete client observation rounds
• Communicate appropriately with the team.
• Follow and comply with all state and company policies and guidelines

Qualifications:

• Must be an LVN, LPN with current licensure
• CPR/First Aid Certification.
• Knowledge of OSHA, FDA, and HIPAA compliance
• 1 year of experience working in a detox setting (preferred but not required)
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to address behavioral health issues, identify critical situations, and recognize when additional assistance is necessary.
• Basic computer​ and typing skills.
• ​Good documentation skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $34.00 per hour
