Are you passionate about supporting indviduals in crisis and making a lasting impact in your community? We are seeking compassionate, skilled Residential Crisis Stabilization Counelors to join our growing team dedicated to supporting individuals facing acute behavioral health crisis. In this role, you will work in a short-term residential setting, providing therapeutic interventions, support and structure to adults in need of immediate stabilization.
As a key member of the care team, you will deliver individualized services designed to de-escalate crisis, reduce psychiatric symptoms, and promote recovery; all within a trauma-informed and recovery-oriented environment.
Available Shifts
We are currently hiring for the following shift:
- Monday - Friday :: 3:00p - 11:00p
- Monday - Friday :: 11:00p - 7:00a
- Saturday - Sunday :: 7:00a - 7:00p
- Saturday - Sunday :: 7:00p - 7:00a
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual, family and group counseling to residents in crisis
- Participate in assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress
- Coordinate with referring agencies and participate in weekly case reviews
- Facilitate peer education/support groups as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services in accordance with DBHDS/DMAS standards
- Attend and contribute to staff meetings, clinical supervision and multi-disciplinary treatment planning
- Transport clients as needed for appointments and program activities
- Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support as necessary
- Maintain professional boundaries and uphold strict client confidentiality at all times
Qualifications
- Registered QMHP, BHT, BHTA or CSAC with the Virginia Board of Counseling
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a clinical setting providing direct services to individuals with mental health or developmental needs
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong documentation, communication and crisis management skills

Compensation
$20 - $24 based on qualifications and experience
