RESIDENTIAL GROUP HOME MANAGER
We are seeking applications for a full-time, energetic, experienced Manager for our Rost-Huebner Houses. Responsible for the day-to-day operations of NEW Care, Inc.’s three (3) residential homes for adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. Responsible for the overall functioning of the residential homes, including quality treatment, contract compliance, facilities up-keep, and supervising, training, retaining, and scheduling of the Direct Support Professionals assigned to the Rost-Huebner Homes. Ensures that residents receive the care and support they need to experience life with dignity and wholeness.
Wage will be based on experience and related skills and will be discussed in the interview.

Responsibilities:
- Manages staff members who work in the homes, including training, scheduling shifts, and evaluating performance.
- Documents incidents and reports them to supervisor as necessary.
- Coordinates opportunities for residents to engage in community outreach activities.
- Monitors resident’s physical and mental health through daily check-ins and interactions with staff.
- Documents personal spending for all residents and keeps track of spending money; reporting balance to CBRF Administrator and/or guardian.
- Assists residents with basic needs such as bathing and grooming.
- Coordinates with other staff members to ensure that residents’ needs are met.
- Follows up with staff on resident appointments to ensure that transportation has been arranged and that guardian and/or Managed Care Organization (MCO) have been notified.
- Works with family members to develop treatment plans that meet the needs of each resident.
- Attends care plan meetings with MCO or appoints a designee to attend.
- Reviews and updates residents’ individualized plans to ensure they are effective.
- Schedules self to work on floor when not expected to perform office duties.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Ability to motivate and inspire others to work together to achieve a common goal; ensuring that the team members feel valued and respected.
- Excellent time management and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to handle conflicts and delegate tasks.
- Demonstrated common sense, judgment, communication skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
