Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Thorough review of scheduled work with manager(s) to verify equipment and material pick list, identify needed corrections, and to identify and request equipment, and any fabricated materials required for installations on the following day(s)
- Pull/assist in the pulling of equipment and materials needed for installations
- Clean equipment/work areas
- Ensure complete customer satisfaction daily and perform walkthrough at the end of the job
- Complete all paperwork required by management and record hours and all material used
- Collect for work performed, if applicable
- Return unused material and inventory
- Keep assigned vehicle organized and clean
- Identify and suggest opportunities for quality and cost improvements
- Other duties as needed
Prerequisites include:
- A valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Clean driving and criminal records as required by state laws for home service companies and by company insurance carrier(s)
- Two or more years of experience as an energy retrofit technician preferred
- Two or more years of carpentry experience preferred
- A high school diploma or equivalent or a comparable combination of education, training and experience
- A neat, clean, and professional appearance
Job Type & Hours
Full Time
- Average 40 hours per week (typically 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. weekdays)
- Overtime/weekend work, as needed
Earning Potential for the Residential Installer (Energy Retrofit) - Foreman:
With our hourly rate, overtime and bonus structure, our Residential Installer has the potential to earn $25.00 - $35.00 per hour, depending on productivity.
