At Brighter Days Housing, LLC, we are committed to creating supportive and empowering environments. As a Program Manager, you'll oversee the management of two residential group homes while contributing to program development and expansion. Your leadership will inspire a team of Team Leaders, Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide exceptional care while ensuring compliance, fostering a person-centered environment, and driving innovative program initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities:Program Development and Management:
- Design and implement new initiatives to enhance the quality of care and service delivery.
- Develop and refine residential program goals to align with Brighter Days Housing, LLC's mission and values.
- Identify opportunities for new services and work with leadership to create tailored programs that meet the evolving needs of individuals served.
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making recommendations for improvement.
- Stay informed of industry trends and best practices to ensure innovative approaches in program offerings.
Leadership & Supervision:
- Oversee DSP and Team Lead staff to ensure residents receive personalized support in daily living skills, hygiene, and community participation.
- Provide training, professional development, and mentorship to foster a collaborative and high-performing team.
- Serve as the main contact for families, guardians, and support teams, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
Health & Safety Coordination:
- Schedule and attend healthcare, psychiatric and other appointments, prioritizing the well-being of residents.
- Ensure safety and security in residential homes, including conducting emergency drills and maintaining facilities.
- Manage crisis situations effectively, employing calm problem-solving and leadership skills.
Program Expansion:
- Partner with leadership to identify new residential opportunities and expand services.
- Assist in planning and launching new group homes and programs, including client recruitment, staff recruitment and onboarding.
- Collaborate with community partners to increase awareness and access to residential services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree preferred in Social Work, Psychology or related field.
- Five (2) years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities in a Supervisory role.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
- Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving history, and proof of auto insurance.
- Ability to pass mandatory drug screenings and background checks.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in computer operations and documentation systems.
Additional Skills and Certifications:
- Current certifications in CPR/First Aid and Medication Assistance.
- Demonstrated success in program development and implementation.
- Leadership capabilities with a focus on fostering collaboration and innovation.
- Ability to analyze complex situations, develop solutions, and remain composed in crises.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
- Ability to lift or position non-ambulatory individuals.
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and varying hours, including on-call responsibilities.
- Exposure to aggressive behaviors.
- Ability to be On-Call 24/7.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
