Summary
As a Respite Care Provider at The Hand of Grace LLC, you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate care and support to individuals in our community. This position is essential for promoting independence and functionality among members ensuring they receive the necessary assistance to thrive in their daily lives.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with clients and their families.
- Advocate for clients’ needs within the community to enhance their quality of life.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and communicate effectively with team members.
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all clients.
Requirements
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in a caregiving role is preferred.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is required.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-directed.
- Compassionate attitude towards helping others achieve independence.
