Overview
We are seeking a visionary leader to oversee and lead our Family Respite Program, which
provides essential day program services for children ages 0-5. This program offers respite care,
life skills development, and group activities to support families and children in our community.
Duties
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the Family Respite Program
- Optimize departmental activities and productivity to ensure efficient service delivery
- Monitor program progress and performance using data-driven insights
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards
Team Development & Collaboration
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Oversee training initiatives and staff development programs
- Lead team efforts to achieve high-quality service delivery and performance goals
- Coordinate with internal support departments for seamless operations
Strategic Planning & Quality Management
- Work closely with senior leadership on program development and strategic planning
- Develop and update program manuals and operational procedures
- Drive strategic initiatives to enhance program effectiveness
- Manage projects that support program growth and improvement
Service Excellence
- Ensure delivery of high-quality respite care, life skills training, and group programming
- Meet funder requirements and organizational performance expectations
- Maintain infrastructure to support and advance services for children and families
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Early Childhood Education, Social Work, Human
Services, or related) Masters Preferred
- Proven leadership experience in childcare, social services, or similar field
- Strong project management and team leadership skills
- Experience with program development and quality improvement initiatives
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for childcare programs preferred
