We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.Seeking a Respite Provider for siblings (7 yr old girl and 4 yr old boy), focusing on emotional regulation, while having fun. This gives mom some temporary relief to rest, refresh, and recharge!
The kids enjoy Trampoline parks, parks, swimming, mall days, indoor playgrounds, arts and crafts, and Museums.
Respite care for the children will be in their home. Community outings are also encouraged.
Pay:
- The pay rate is $19.06/ hour for working with BOTH children (this rate is before taxes etc)
Schedule:
- Ideally looking for 8 - 20 hours per week
- Ideally weekends with flexibility
- To be discussed and determined between provider and family
- Days and times Flexible (schedule will be made in advance based on availability)
Job Duties:
- Supervision
- Regulating Emotions
- Active attentiveness
- Companionship and Social Engagement
- Community Outings
- Helping with potty training
- Willing to administer an oral medication to the client
Qualifications:
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Criminal/Caregiver background check.
- Compassionate individual with care experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance preferred.
- Able to provide proof of vaccinations
- Females respite workers and caregivers are encouraged to apply.
