Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Restaurant Staff to join our team in a fast-paced café environment. The ideal candidates will possess strong customer service skills and a passion for the food industry. As a vital part of our restaurant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a clean and welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with their orders, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Operate the Aloha POS system efficiently to process transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including dining tables and food preparation spaces.
- Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure the quality and safety of all menu items.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any customer needs or concerns.
- Perform basic math calculations for order processing and cash handling.
- Help with inventory management, including restocking supplies as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or café setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha, is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations is beneficial.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment are essential for success in this role.
