Responsibilities:
- Travel for 2-3 months at a time for construction projects. Hotel & Per Diem covered by company.
- Oversee and manage all aspects of retail store fit out projects as well as restaurant fit outs from start to finish
- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Review and interpret schematics and blueprints to ensure accuracy and adherence to project specifications
- Supervise all on-site activity daily to monitor progress, quality control, and resolve any issues that may arise
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project completion
- Manage project budgets, including cost control and construction estimating
- Maintain accurate documentation of project activities, including daily reports, change orders, and progress updates
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Site Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials
- Strong understanding of schematics and blueprint reading
- Familiarity with quality control procedures and standards
- Proficient in construction estimating and budget management
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
