Job Title: Server – Daytime Shifts
Schedule:
- Required: Monday–Friday, 10:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Possible Additional Shift: Sunday, 4:00 PM – 9:30 PM
Compensation:
- Base Pay: $3/hour + tips
- Keep 100% of cash tips
- Credit card tips: 18% withheld (15% shared with expo/front staff + 3% credit transaction fee)
- Average total earnings: $20–$30/hour (varies depending on business level and individual performance)
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced, fine dining environment. You will play a key role in creating an outstanding guest experience while working closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team.
Duties:
- Greet and seat guests with a friendly and professional attitude
- Present menus and answer questions about food and beverages
- Take orders accurately using POS systems (OpenTable experience is a plus)
- Deliver food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation standards
- Buss tables quickly and maintain cleanliness of the dining area
- Assist with food running and support the expo when needed
- Perform basic hosting duties, including managing reservations and seating flow
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and handle guest concerns
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
Requirements:
- Must be available Monday–Friday, 10:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Ability to occasionally work Sunday evening shifts (4:00 PM – 9:30 PM)
- Previous experience in restaurants or hospitality preferred (fine dining a plus)
- Familiarity with POS systems; OpenTable experience is beneficial
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to buss, run food, host, and assist expo when required
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical serving duties
- Positive attitude, teamwork mindset, and strong work ethic
