Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring that all food and beverage orders are accurately taken and delivered.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha POS system.
- Provide recommendations to enhance the dining experience based on menu knowledge.
- Ensure all food safety standards are met by properly handling, preparing, and serving food.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly.
- Process payments efficiently while ensuring accuracy in billing.
- Assist in training new staff members on restaurant policies and procedures as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary standards is essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with food handling procedures is a plus.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help team members as needed.
