Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restoration & construction estimating and management, with the ability to analyze project costs and provide accurate estimates for various restoration & construction projects. This role is essential in ensuring that projects are completed within budget and on schedule, while maintaining high-quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and overhead costs.
- Utilize software tools such as Xactimate/excel to create and manage estimates.
- Review contract documents to ensure all specifications are met in the estimating process.
- Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to gather necessary information for accurate pricing.
- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and gather data for estimates.
- Implement cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle to ensure adherence to budget constraints.
- Negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best possible rates.
- Maintain organized records of all estimates, contracts, and related documentation.
Skills
- Proficient in construction, environmental and restoration estimating software such as Xactimate.
- Strong understanding of construction management principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail in cost analysis.
- Ability to build relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors for effective negotiation.
- Familiarity with contract terms and conditions related to construction projects.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration across teams.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:
- 3 or more years of experience as an Estimator in Restoration/Reconstruction
- Xactimate experience required
- Clean driving record
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 50 pounds. Regularly required to sit, walk, stand, stoop, bend, squat, open doors, and climb/ descend stairs.
- Operate standard office equipment (computers, phones, copier, fax machine or scanner).
Environmental Conditions:
- Estimators may travel to a variety of worksites in a company vehicle.
- Climate-controlled Office/Field setting.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $68,500.00 - $78,000.00 per year
