Job Description – Restoration Technician
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Restoration Technician to join our team. In this role, you will assist with water, fire, smoke, and mold damage restoration projects for residential and commercial properties. The Restoration Technician is responsible for performing hands-on work in cleanup, demolition, drying, and sanitization while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain equipment, including air movers, dehumidifiers, HEPA scrubbers, and containment barriers.
- Assist in demolition and removal of damaged building materials (drywall, flooring, cabinetry, insulation, etc.).
- Perform cleaning, HEPA vacuuming, odor control, and antimicrobial application on affected surfaces.
- Monitor job site conditions using moisture meters and other inspection tools.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and restoration equipment.
- Load, unload, and maintain equipment, supplies, and vehicles in a clean, organized manner.
- Document work performed through job notes, photos, and checklists.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and occasionally with customers on-site.
- Follow safety procedures, wear PPE, and comply with OSHA and company standards at all times.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in restoration, construction, remediation, or related trades preferred (training provided).
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding labor in varying environments (confined spaces, PPE, hot/cold conditions).
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
- Willingness to obtain industry certifications (IICRC, OSHA, etc.).

Pay: $22.50 - $29.00 per hour
