Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting with product demonstrations, and ensuring a well-organized shopping environment. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or answering inquiries.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions and returns.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain proper cash handling procedures.
- Demonstrate products to customers to enhance their shopping experience and drive sales.
- Upsell additional products based on customer needs and preferences.
- Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and restocking shelves as needed.
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing concerns or questions promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and cash management.
- Familiarity with retail math concepts is a plus.
- Experience with stocking, merchandising, and product displays is desirable.
- Supervising experience is a nice-to-have for potential leadership opportunities.
