Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Stocking Associates to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products are clean, well-organized and readily available for customers. This position requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Duties
- Receive and unpack merchandise, ensuring items are properly labeled and organized on shelves.
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
- Stock shelves and displays with products, maintaining an appealing presentation.
- Assist customers by providing information about products and answering inquiries.
- Operate dollies and wheel assists to transport furniture, etc when needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the items, stockroom and sales floor.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Ability to clean used items, from furniture to clothing.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
- Experience in retail sales or warehouse environments is preferred, but willing to train.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and move packages efficiently.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are advantageous for enhancing customer interactions.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate stocking procedures.
- A proactive attitude towards teamwork and achieving common goals.
- Provide own transportation to be on time (9:30-5:00).
