POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Retail Associate to join our team who will ensure the store's stock levels are maintained, products are well-organized, and the store is presented in an orderly and appealing manner. You will be a product expert to educate, inform, and outfit the customer for any occasion. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, an eye for detail, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Unload deliveries, organize and stock products on racks and displays to ensure they are easily accessible to customers
- Monitor inventory levels and restock merchandise as needed
- Ensure items are properly tagged with accurate pricing and signage
- Inspect and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and condition, reporting any discrepancies or damage.
- Ensure store inventory is regularly inspected, removed, or rotated according to the Product Freshness Review Schedule
- Assist customers with their shopping needs
- Maintain a safe, clean, and pleasing environment for customers and associates
- Other duties as assigned
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- Previous retail or stock experience
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Lift and/or move up to approximately 60 pounds frequently
- Use basic information-gathering skills to solve problems
- Ability to learn procedural knowledge acquired through on-the-job training
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to become an expert on BYLT product knowledge
- Fast-paced energy level
- Dependability
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required
