Pleasant Beach Living is a locally loved lifestyle and home goods store seeking a reliable, experienced, and creative Retail Store Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and support a positive, engaging shopping experience for our customers.
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about retail, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic about helping grow a small business.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the store with a hands-on leadership style
- Deliver excellent customer service from greeting to checkout
- Operate and manage Shopify POS system and barcode scanners
- Handle register operations, including opening/closing procedures and cash handling
- Track and manage inventory levels; receive and organize new merchandise
- Maintain attractive, creative store displays and merchandising
- Work closely with the owner to uphold store standards and support growth
- Train and oversee part-time retail staff as needed
Qualifications
- Retail sales and/or management experience required
- Proficiency with Shopify or similar POS systems preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable using barcode scanners and handling inventory systems
- Creative with an eye for visual merchandising
- Highly organized and dependable
- Lives locally or has reliable transportation to Bainbridge Island
- Available weekends and during peak retail hours
