Do you love retail, love people, and have a knack for leading a team to success? Moxie Shop is looking for an experienced, upbeat, and driven Store Manager to lead our boutique with confidence and style.
Who We Are:
Moxie Shop is a fun, fashion-forward boutique in downtown Ocean Springs, MS, specializing in curvy and plus-size apparel (sizes XL–3X / 12–24). We create a warm, welcoming space where women can feel confident, empowered, and celebrated through style.
About the Role:
As Store Manager, you'll be responsible for leading daily operations, inspiring the team, and maintaining a vibrant in-store experience. You’ll also play a key role in setting and achieving sales goals, planning events, and overseeing merchandising.
Key Responsibilities:
✨ Lead, train, and motivate a team of sales associates
✨ Set and drive individual and team sales goals
✨ Maintain exceptional customer service standards
✨ Create a fun, energetic, and welcoming store atmosphere
✨ Oversee merchandising, store visuals, and product displays
✨ Plan and execute in-store events and promotions
✨ Manage store operations including opening/closing procedures
✨ Handle cash, process deposits, and maintain register accuracy
✨ Ensure store cleanliness and organization at all times
✨ Hold team members accountable to performance and role expectations
✨ Resolve customer concerns with professionalism and care
Requirements:
✅ 2–3 years of retail experience
✅ 1+ year of managerial or leadership experience
✅ Strong merchandising skills and sales focus
✅ Excellent customer service and communication skills
✅ Confident, positive, and people-oriented
✅ Organized, dependable, and detail-driven
✅ Comfortable with cleaning and maintaining store appearance
✅ Trustworthy with cash handling and daily deposits
✅ Available to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends/holidays

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
