Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Retail Sales Manager to lead our small team at our location in HUNT VALLEY , MD - We are located in the shopping centre off of I-83.
Delivering exceptional customer experiences while driving sales performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for retail, ensuring that our store operates efficiently and effectively. As a Retail Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and implementing strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and achieve sales goals.
Duties
- Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve store targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and visual displays.
- Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure a knowledgeable and high-performing team.
- Manage shift schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours while maintaining a positive work environment.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Foster a customer-centric culture by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with upper management on promotional strategies and marketing initiatives to drive foot traffic.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele.
- Proven experience in store management or retail leadership roles.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for enhancing communication with customers.
- Excellent team management skills with the capacity to inspire and develop others.
- Proficient in inventory management practices to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Ability to effectively buy merchandise that meets customer needs while maximizing profitability.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in recruiting top talent for retail positions is highly desirable.
