Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Revenue Accounting Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills. You bring a positive, “can-do” attitude and thrive in fast-paced environments where you’re ready to jump in, drive results, and take initiative. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day revenue accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of revenue and related cost accounts, as well as supporting the month-end close and reporting processes. A solid understanding of revenue recognition guidance and its practical application in daily operations is essential.
The ideal candidate demonstrates sound judgment, strong critical thinking, and a proactive approach to risk management and problem-solving. You are capable of leading and growing a high-performing revenue accounting team, collaborating effectively with colleagues across global locations including Israel and India, and communicating clearly across all levels of the organization—both in writing and verbally.
What you'll do:
- Own and manage monthly closing activities for revenue, cost of revenue, deferred revenue, deferred cost and any associated revenue or cost of revenue accounts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to GAAP
- Ensure accurate revenue close process, forecasting and reporting
- Lead preparation of technical accounting memos and related analyses to document the company position on technical accounting matters in accordance with ASC 606
- Build strong working relationships with the external auditors to ensure revenue accounting is consistent and compliant with GAAP
- Develop and drive strategic plans and objectives for the order to cash organization
- Provide oversight and direction for the order to cash team and processes
- Drive the automation roadmap and drive continuous improvement projects for systems, processes, and teams
- Partner with cross-functional teams on a regular basis to identify areas for improvement and solve problems within quote-to-cash processes
- Ensure appropriate internal controls are in place and operating effectively
Who you are:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- CPA, or equivalent with Big 4 experience
- 7+ years of in accounting with at least 3+ years of experience in revenue accounting
- Team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic and flexible
- Effective communication skills, including establishing credibility, trust and influential relationships with cross functional teams
- Proven success maintaining positive attitude while handling multiple (and sometimes competing) priorities and leading projects with significant change management requirements
- Strong technical GAAP accounting skills with concentration on ASC 606
- Passion for leading a team and developing talent
- Strong drive to achieve goals while working effectively with cross-functional teams
