Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a teaching hospital environment and possess strong clinical skills, including patient assessment and IV insertion. This role involves providing high-quality patient care, conducting physical examinations, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal health outcomes. The Registered Nurse will also engage in health coaching and may participate in travel nursing opportunities as needed.

Job Title:- RN-All units (Med Surg, ER, ICU, Tele)
Location:- McKinney, Fortworth, TX.
Shift:- 12s (Days/ Nights)
Weekly:- 36 hrs.
Duration:- Full time permanent position with benefits included
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine health status and needs.
- Perform physical examinations and document findings accurately.
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Insert IVs and manage intravenous therapy for patients.
- Provide health coaching to patients, educating them on managing their conditions effectively.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals in the operating room (OR) as required.
- Maintain accurate patient records using eClinicalWorks or similar electronic health record systems.
- Assist with catheterization procedures when necessary.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Experience working in a teaching hospital setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in performing physical examinations and patient assessments.
- Strong skills in IV insertion and administering injections.
- Familiarity with eClinicalWorks or similar electronic health record systems is advantageous.
- Experience with health coaching techniques is a plus.
- Willingness to travel for nursing assignments as needed.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
