Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Home Health team. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes, ensuring their comfort and well-being. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to assess patient needs, develop care plans, and implement appropriate interventions. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine health status and care needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments and medical history.
- Perform physical examinations and evaluate patients' conditions regularly.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, medication administration, and lifestyle modifications.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care effectively.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Utilize medical imaging techniques when necessary to support diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and infection control measures during home visits.
Skills
- Proficient understanding of medical terminology relevant to nursing practice.
- Strong knowledge of human physiology to assess patient conditions accurately.
- Experience in coding for medical records is a plus.
- Familiarity with systems used in home health care for documentation and reporting.
- Ability to perform physical examinations effectively.
- Experience in teaching hospitals or ambulatory surgery centers is advantageous.
- Excellent patient assessment skills to identify changes in health status promptly.
- Capability to lift patients safely while adhering to proper body mechanics.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $110,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
