Job Overview:
CenterWell Home Health is seeking a RN Clinical Manager to oversee clinical operations and quality assurance for their Lillington, NC branch. The role is a leadership position responsible for managing clinical staff, ensuring compliance with regulations, and coordinating patient care. The position is on-site and requires a strong background in home health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, plan, and implement clinical operations for the branch.
- Oversee patient assessments, care plan development, and staff assignments.
- Supervise, instruct, and guide clinical staff to ensure quality home care services.
- Monitor documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and third-party payers, particularly Medicare.
- Coordinate communication among the healthcare team, physicians, and caregivers.
- Participate in budgeting, sales, and marketing initiatives for the branch.
- Manage and evaluate clinical staff, including interviewing, hiring, and training.
- Conduct staff education based on documentation reviews.
- Analyze performance data to improve efficiency and quality.
- Provide direct patient care on an infrequent, emergency basis.
- Act as the Branch Director in their absence.
Requirements:
- An Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) is required; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is strongly preferred.
- An active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or a Compact State RN license with authorization to practice in North Carolina.
- A minimum of two years of experience as a Registered Nurse with at least one year of management experience in a home care or hospice setting.
- Home health and management experience are required.
- A valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Proof of current CPR card and/or BLS certification.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Experience with OASIS documentation and certification (HCS-O, COQS, and/or COS-C).
- Experience with Homecare Homebase (HCHB).
- Knowledge of CMS PDGM billing.
Compensation & Benefits:
- The annual salary ranges from $77,200 to $106,200.
- The position is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
