Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER)

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3 Days/12 Hours, Monday to Friday)
Schedule: 36 Hours/Week
Contract Length: 13 Weeks + 1 Day
Pay Rate: $42/hour
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Emergency Department (ED) at a leading healthcare facility in Muskegon, Michigan. This is a contract assignment designed for professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and want to make a difference in emergency care delivery.
Required Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
(ENPC may be accepted in place of PALS)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive emergency care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions effectively and timely
- Act as the primary coordinator for patient care activities across multiple disciplines
- Carry out physician and nursing orders accurately
- Assist in discharge planning and transition of care coordination
- Ensure compliance with clinical policies and patient safety protocols
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in the state of Michigan
- Minimum 2 years of recent ER experience in a high-acuity setting
- Strong ability to remain calm, organized, and effective under pressure
- Exceptional clinical assessment and communication skills
