About the Facility:
Join the dedicated Emergency Department team in Redding, CA – a Level II Trauma Center known for delivering exceptional acute care. With 28 ER beds, 4 fast-track bays, 2 trauma bays, and hallway beds, this fast-paced department handles high-volume, high-acuity cases daily.
Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER)
Start Date: September 9, 2025
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights | 12-hour shifts | 36 guaranteed hours/week
Shift Details:
- Hours: 12-hour nights with a 5:45 PM start time
- Schedule: Every other weekend required
- Call: 1–2 days/month
- Self-scheduling: Yes (some flexibility, schedule made 2+ weeks in advance)
Position Requirements:
- License: Active RN license (required to submit)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years ER RN experience
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, COVID Vaccine (TNCC preferred)
- Dysrhythmia Test: Proctored onsite, pass/fail on Day 1 (required for ER RNs)
Unit Information:
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4
- Support Staff: EMTs on every shift
- EMR: Cerner
- Scrubs: Navy
- Technology: GE Telemetry, Ventilators available
- Resources: 24/7 RT, Pharmacy, Hospitalist & Intensivist coverage

Pay: $73.00 - $76.00 per hour
