Join our dedicated team at Epiroc Mongolia LLC as a Sales and Product Support Specialist, where you'll play a pivotal role in maximizing customer productivity and enhancing equipment lifecycle value within the mining and underground equipment services sector. This position is part of the Sales department, based in our Oyu Tolgoi site, supporting the Equipment & Service Business Area. This is a site-based role operating on a 7 days on / 7 days off (7/7) roster.

About the Role

As the technical expert in product application knowledge for underground mining equipment, you will serve as a critical link between our customers and factory teams. Your responsibilities will include monitoring product performance, driving continuous improvements, and supporting new equipment commissioning and startup phases. You will be instrumental in conducting field tests and managing project outcomes to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Your role extends to close collaboration with the sales force to support their efforts through detailed product application studies, preparation of major quotations, and provision of tailored sales support materials. You will also work cross-functionally with other business lines such as Parts and Service and Rock Drilling Tools to capitalize on synergies and expand business opportunities.

Specific tasks and responsibilities, but are not limited to:

• • Become a technical expert for product application knowledge and options.
  • To be the link between the customer and factory regarding product performance. To obtain information and provide feedback to enable product improvements
  • To be responsible for OT FFP documentation related to sales of new equipment.
  • To fulfill and support commissioning and startup for the new equipment by issuing all necessary reports
  • To drive the project, field test, and report the outcome.
  • To liaise with the Customer to support Epiroc products
  • Track and coordinate Battery (BEV) regular services, monitor performance
  • To monitor product performance, initiate reports to the end user and sales and P&S teams.
  • To undertake technical investigations to resolve problems and provide customer support
  • To support the service team with technical knowledge.
  • Conduct productivity studies
  • Support the sales force in their selling efforts, including the preparation of major quotations, product application studies, and sales support material
  • Work closely with other business lines to capitalize on synergies and capture and consolidate business opportunities. e.g., Parts and service, Rock drilling tools, etc.
  • Travel is required to fulfil the duties of the role, and this includes travel on weekends or overseas.

Required Competences and Skills

• 3+ years of experience working with underground products and/or their applications.

• Good knowledge and experience in the mining industry.
• Proven technical experience within mining/construction products.
• Technical mining-related education and/ or work equivalent
• Fluent English is essential.
