We're looking for an enthusiastic sales associate/design consultant to join our team! Must be customer oriented, self-motivated and design loving! Part-time, must have weekend availability. Store hours: Sunday noon-5pm, Monday - Saturday, 10am-5pm. Furniture sales and design experience a plus! Position includes an hourly sales bonus!
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand their design needs and preferences.
- Provide expert advice on design options, materials, and finishes.
- Engage in retail sales activities, including upselling products and services to enhance client projects.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Maintain an organized workspace and ensure all design materials are readily available.
- Conduct follow-ups with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
Requirements
- Strong sales skills with experience in retail sales preferred.
- Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and pricing calculations.
- Experience with cash handling procedures is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for design and aesthetics.
