Car Wash Sales Attendant Job Summary:
The RipTide Car Wash is seeking a Sales Attendant to assist our customers with purchasing various car wash packages. Our Sales Attendants are incentivized to help customers save money by purchasing unlimited wash club memberships. Furthermore, RipTide’s Sales Attendants act as a resource to inform customers of any promotions we run throughout the year, answer questions regarding our various amenities/products, and welcome our customers to our site with a warm and friendly smile. RipTide offers their Sales Attendants competitive hourly rates and uncapped commission earnings for all unlimited wash club plans sold.

Car Wash Sales Attendant Job Schedule:
- Our locations are open seven days a week from 8 AM – 8:00 PM.
- We are open to both full-time and part-time applicants, but we will give preference to our candidates who can work 30+ hours per week during interviews.
- Furthermore, candidates who can work occasional weekend shifts will receive additional interview preference!
Car Wash Sales Attendant Pay:
- The starting hourly rate for our Wash Plan Consultants is $15.50/hr
- Wash Plan Consultants will receive commission for each unlimited wash plan membership or prepaid plan membership they sell. We run yearly promotions to increase customer counts and make selling plans easier. Commission payouts vary based on the unlimited/prepaid wash plan package, but the typical payout is $10 per plan sold ($5 during our grand opening promotion).
- Over the years, RipTide has sold our customers tens of thousands of unlimited wash plan memberships. Our most successful Wash Plan Consultants have made over $40/hour when their hourly rate and commission bonuses are added together!
- There is NO cap on commission earnings! If you sell 1,000 plans in one month, you could make $10,000 in commission!
Car Wash Sales Attendant Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet all customers with a warm and friendly welcome.
- Inform customers of the differences between our wash packages and the value of purchasing our unlimited wash club memberships.
- Explain promotional offerings to our customers (when applicable).
- Answer any questions customers may have regarding any car wash amenities.
- Provide the best customer service possible.
- All other duties as assigned by the location management team.
Car Wash Plan Consultant Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Prior sales experience is preferred.
- Prior customer service experience preferred.
- Must be able to work outside.
