Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth by developing new business opportunities and managing existing accounts. This role requires a strong understanding of B2B sales, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service. The Sales Consultant will engage in both inside and outside sales activities, utilizing CRM software to track leads and manage customer relationships effectively.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through lead generation and cold calling.
- Manage existing accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct product demonstrations and provide technical sales support to clients.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to align sales strategies with promotional efforts.
- Utilize Salesforce or other CRM software for tracking sales activities, managing customer interactions, and analyzing sales data.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales deals while upselling additional products or services.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of industry trends, competitive landscape, and technology advancements.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, market analysis, and territory management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or direct sales roles.
- Strong account management skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Familiarity with CRM software, particularly Salesforce.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers.
- Experience in technology sales or technical product knowledge is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills to assess market opportunities and performance metrics.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
