The Opportunity:

We're seeking a driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to play a crucial role in expanding the reach of our Compleo Invoice Platform. What You'll Do:
- Pioneer Outreach: Be the initial point of contact for potential clients, conducting strategic outbound outreach (cold calls, personalized emails, targeted social selling via LinkedIn Sales Navigator) to generate new business opportunities for the Compleo Invoice Platform.
- Identify Critical Pain Points: Engage with key decision-makers within finance and operations (CFOs, Controllers, AP Managers, IT Directors) to uncover their current challenges related to manual invoicing, slow approval processes, lack of visibility, and compliance concerns.
- Articulate Value: Clearly articulate how the Compleo Invoice Platform specifically addresses these pain points, highlighting benefits such as:
- Automated Invoice Capture & Processing: Reducing manual data entry and errors.
- Streamlined Approval Workflows: Accelerating payment cycles and enhancing control.
- ERP Integration Expertise: Seamless connectivity with systems like SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and more.
- E-invoicing Compliance: Ensuring adherence to evolving global and regional mandates.
- Enhanced Reporting & Analytics: Providing real-time insights into AP operations.
- Qualify & Convert: Skillfully qualify leads based on Symtrax's Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and BANT criteria, then successfully schedule high-quality introductory meetings and product demonstrations for our seasoned Account Executives.
- CRM Mastery: Meticulously log and manage all sales activities, prospect interactions, and pipeline progress within our CRM system (Salesforce).
- Collaborate & Learn: Work closely with Account Executives to ensure smooth hand-offs and alignment on account strategies. Provide valuable market feedback to our Marketing and Product teams to continuously refine our approach.
- Become a Product Champion: Continuously deepen your expertise in the Compleo Invoice Platform, understanding its features, technical integrations, and competitive advantages in the AP automation space.
What You'll Bring:
- 3+ years of experience as an SDR, BDR, or in a similar inside sales role, specifically within a B2B SaaS environment.
- Strong Software Acumen: A proven understanding of the SaaS business model, cloud-based solutions, and the technical aspects of software applications.
- Understanding of Financial Processes: Familiarity with Accounts Payable, General Ledger, invoicing workflows, and/or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is highly preferred. Experience with SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics environments is a significant plus.
- Exceptional Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage, persuade, and build rapport with senior-level finance professionals.
- Goal-Oriented Drive: A highly motivated, self-starter mentality with a "hunter" mindset, a positive attitude, and a tenacious approach to hitting and exceeding targets.
- Resilience & Adaptability: Ability to navigate objections, learn from feedback, and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving sales environment.
- Tech Stack Proficiency: Hands-on experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), sales engagement platforms (e.g., Salesloft, Outreach), and prospecting tools (e.g., ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo.io, Lusha,Lemlist, etc).
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Direct experience selling or prospecting for AP automation, e-invoicing, or financial document management software.
- A track record of consistently exceeding monthly and quarterly qualified meeting or pipeline generation goals.
- An understanding of APIs, data streams (XML, JSON, PDF) and document output management concepts.
