Sales & Estimating Representative

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales/estimating experience within a manufacturing environment with an emphasis in metal, rubber and plastics fabrication industries.
• Excellent blueprint reading skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Products.
• Team player with strong communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate needs between customers and Fedtech's internal departments.
• Self-starter with great analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to make decisions using logic, experience and judgement.
• Can accurately and effectively plan out tasks and projects, develop schedules and anticipate and adjust for challenges and setbacks.

Responsibilities

• Regular interfacing and servicing established customers while developing new customer relationships.
• Bidding and planning of potential waterjet, laser and or machining jobs for new and established customers utilizing Filemaker Pro and Microsoft Office Products.
• Organize and construct job router packets for production.
• Purchase materials and supplies necessary for production.
• Subcontract secondary operations necessary for production.
• Interface with customers, vendors and Fedtech's internal departments to resolve challenges, continually improve processes and customer satisfaction.
