Hercules Fence is a premier fence and perimeter security company in the VA/DC/MD area. We excel in commercial and high security work at some of the most prestigious locations in the United States. We are looking for a driven Estimator who will be responsible for creating qualified estimates for all types of fencing, gates, and operators.
Core Job Functions
- Maintain/grow existing client relationships and build your own network by developing new business
- Review, comprehend and quantify plans, specifications, addendums, RFI responses etc.
- Communicate with contractors to clarify scope & schedule
- Submit RFQ’s to vendors and subcontractors, confirm compliance with plans and specifications
- Prepare comprehensive cost estimates and written technical proposals
- Present estimated budget, plans, details, specifications, vendor quotes & written technical proposal to Hercules Management prior to submission
- Track all bids
- After award, prepare and hand off all bid documents and correspondence to the Project Manager assigned
- Support contract negotiation efforts and remain involved with the project until all internal and external questions are answered

Job Requirements
Minimal General Education
- High School Diploma
- College Degree Desirable
Minimum Working Experience
- Experience within the fencing industry preferred but not required, or
- Prefer 3-5 years of varied construction industry experience
Other Requirements
- Must be located within the United States
- Be able to commute daily to the office and job sites as required
- Pass necessary background verification checks to gain access to Government worksites
- Valid driver’s license
