Position Scope:
The Sales Operations Intern serves as a key support role within the machine sales department, providing essential assistance to both outside sales representatives and internal operations teams. This position contributes significantly to departmental efficiency through the management of administrative functions and hands-on support with machine preparation and organization on the equipment yard.

- Education Requirements:
- High school diploma. Actively enrolled in a four-year undergraduate degree program.
- Essential Job Functions:
- This role offers valuable support while providing the employee with hands-on experience with the following functions:
- Efficiently prepares and delivers accurate machine quotations for the sales division.
- Assists in the creation of no-charge documentation and supports the coordination of machine deliveries for the sales division.
- Aids in the seamless processing and coordination of machine and work tool sales within the sales division.
- Conduct weekly inventory scans and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and stock integrity
- Apply barcodes to inventory items for efficient tracking and management
- Prepare and stage new and used machines for customer pick-up prior to arrival
- Coordinate staging of machines for daily preparation activities
- Ensure machines and attachments are properly cleaned and presentable to the yard
- Perform routine yard walkthroughs to ensure equipment security, proper placement and damage assessment

Preferred Experience and Skills:
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite is required. Salesforce and DBS experience is preferred.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to pass background check, physical exam and drug screening test.
Work Environment:
While much of the work is performed in a comfortable office setting, this role also involves regular work outdoors in the equipment yard and other site locations. Employees should be prepared for varying weather conditions and physical environments. Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn in designated areas as required. Although the work is generally not considered inherently hazardous, employees are expected to exercise caution and follow all safety protocols when working on-site.
