SALES MANAGER

Enza Zaden USA is looking for a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join our team in Florida.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing customer relationships, and overseeing the commercial performance of our product portfolio across the East Coast region. You will work closely with another Sales Manager in the same region to ensure optimal coverage and results.

- Responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and pricing within the assigned market.
- Co-creation, development, execution, and monitoring of the tactical plans, including the execution of the customer plans within the assigned market, together with Product and Marketing Management.
- Determination of the customers in cooperation with the subsidiary sales manager, steering, implementation, and execution of (key) customer plans in the assigned market.
- Collection of market and customer data within the market and supply thereof to the marketing intelligence team, as well as implementation of the region price strategy for the assigned market.

You have a good understanding of how the industry works and want to be part of a growing company. You are well-spoken, driven and eager to serve our customers efficiently. You lead a team by managing, coaching, and motivating them. You will establish annual goals for each of your direct reports, check in with them to follow up on these goals and provide counseling to achieve optimum performance levels. You stary up to date on market developments, product portfolio, pricing, sales, distribution, marketing, competition and observed trends.
You will report directly to the Subsidiary Sales Manager in the U.S. and be an integral part of the Sales Management Team.
What you bring as a future colleague
You are a dynamic person who takes initiative, recognizes opportunities, and has an organized method of working. You are a natural communicator and connector. You have strong skills in planning and organization, influencing / persuading and management. You can work independently but you are also able to work in cross-functional teams and intercultural project teams.
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Agriculture or Horticulture.
- 6+ years of relevant work experience.
- Excellent sales skills (gains trust, establishes a business objective, identifies customer needs, explores solutions, develops action plans, and overcomes objections through negotiation).
- Professional, assertive, and clear communication skills (verbal and written).
- Frequent travel nationally, as well as occasionally internationally (30-40% of the working time).
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Estimated salary pay range: $112,043 - $152,060
