FUEL SALES MANAGER
Job Description:
The Fuel Sales Manager is primarily responsible for generating sales to grow wholesale volume and profits and cultivate new customers. The Fuel Sales Manager generates new relationships, negotiates opportunities and provides service solutions to customers while adhering to sales volumes and profitability goals. Core Competencies:
- Required minimum of (1) year professional sales or marketing experience (Logistics, Fuel or Fleet sales experience a plus)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with all levels within organization and prospective customers
- Ability to recommend and implement strategic action for new business opportunities
- Must be able to use initiative and good judgment while working independently
- Ability to evaluate all aspects of the sale and negotiate the best deal possible
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word and Excel)
- Salary and commission structure commensurate with experience
Job Responsibilities:
- Communicates effectively to prospects the advantages and capabilities of the company
- Proactively monitors existing accounts organic development or new opportunities
- Negotiates contract terms with key performance indicators in mind
- Prepares and presents proposals, communicates credit terms and delivery policies
- Participates in implementation of company marketing strategies
- Develops and maintains all aspects of customer relationships to ensure customer retention
- Demonstrates persistence and tenacity through follow-up calls and visits
- Operates within established credit and financial guidelines to protect company assets and receivables
- Participates in trade shows and industry conferences as needed
- Familiarity with back office systems including CRM
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $150,000.00 per year
