Job Overview
IRA Financial is seeking a motivated and client-focused Sales Specialist to join our growing team. This role is in the front lines of our client acquisition process and is responsible for converting inbound marketing leads to satisfied clients. As a Sales Specialist, you will manage and nurture prospects in Salesforce, ensuring each lead receives timely follow-up and personalized communication. You’ll engage with prospective clients directly through outbound calls, texts, and emails, guiding them through the account opening process and positioning IRA Financials’ services as the best solution for their retirement and investing needs.
Success in this role requires a proactive, organized, and results-driven individual who is comfortable working with a high volume of leads, following structured sales processes, and maintaining strong communication throughout the client journey.

Responsibilities & Duties
- Build strong relationships with prospective clients. Understand their needs, provide tailored solutions, and address any concerns or issues.
- Maintain a deep understanding of IRA Financials’ products and services to effectively communicate features and benefits and overcome objections.
- Stay informed of industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape. Provide insights and feedback to help shape sales and marketing strategies and product offerings.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless experience for prospective clients throughout the entire lead lifecycle.
- Meet and exceed conversion and client acquisition goals.
- Conduct outbound calling, texting, and email to engage, qualify and convert D2C marketing leads into clients.
- Track all activities, communications, and lead progress in Salesforce to ensure transparency and accuracy of automated communications.
- Other tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 3 to 5 years of direct-to-consumer sales experience with a proven track record of achieving sales goals.
- Previous experience in financial services, particularly in IRA administration or retirement accounts, preferred.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service with strong verbal and written communication and follow-up skills.
Previous experience using CRM like Salesforce for lead management and Microsoft Office Suite products.
- Self-motivated, results driven, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
