At Wärtsilä, we’re looking for a Sales Support professional to join our team and support our sales operations, customer relationships and commercial activities.

In this role, you will work closely with the Sales team across four key areas: pre-sales support, order handling, reporting, and sales & marketing activities.

You will help ensure a smooth customer experience throughout the sales process, from responding to inquiries and preparing quotations to coordinating orders, monitoring deliveries, and supporting invoicing and payment follow-up.

What you’ll be doing:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.

• Handle customer inquiries, orders and complaints in a timely and professional manner.

• Prepare quotations, sales information and offer proposals.

• Support Tender and Capture teams with bid preparation and tender submissions.

• Maintain accurate customer, account and opportunity information in CRM systems.

• Confirm and process customer purchase orders and coordinate order status with internal teams.

• Monitor delivery timelines and help ensure customer commitments are met.

• Support invoicing processes and follow up on overdue payments when required.

• Coordinate sales documentation, reporting and administrative activities.

• Contribute to sales and marketing campaigns, market intelligence and competitor monitoring.

• Support continuous improvement of sales processes, tools and applications.

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience in B2B sales support, sales coordination or a similar commercial role.

• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

• Experience with ERP and CRM systems is an advantage.

• Knowledge of the maritime industry or maritime products is considered an advantage.

• Ability to work independently, organize priorities and manage multiple tasks.

• Comfortable working in a changing, technology-driven environment.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
