Responsibilities
- Prepare high-quality sandwiches and food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to sanitation and food safety guidelines.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, including Aloha POS and Micros POS, for efficient order processing.
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Assist with food handling and preparation tasks as needed, including bussing tables and maintaining inventory levels.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, particularly in quick service or fast food settings.
- Culinary experience is a plus, with familiarity in food preparation techniques.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on sales and upselling strategies.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations are essential.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is required.
