- Creating and distributing work schedules for the sanitation workers.
- Performing daily inspections of the manufacturing facility and reporting any irregularities.
- Coordinating and monitoring cleaning schedules.
- Inspecting the manufacturing process to determine sanitation protocols.
- Ensures proper Good Manufacturing Practices are always followed.
- Develops and maintains applicable records (EPA, BRC, AIB, etc.).
- Assigns and directs work of sanitation employees and any contract employees
o Maintains safe working environment for all employees/contractors.
o Promotes safety in all areas of operations.
o participates in the development, implementation, and enforcement of safety program.
o Participates in accident investigations.
o Promote employee safety in all areas of operations.
o Other related duties as assigned by Branch Manager.
Requirements & Physical Demands
- Ability to arrive to work on time consistently
- Five or more years in plant sanitation management. Preferably in an industrial bakery Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge in pest control.
- Able to read, comprehend and practice necessary safety procedures, signs, etc.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Have the ability to stand and/or stoop for the full shift
- Working holidays and weekends is frequently required
- Must be 18 years or older
