They are seeking a highly experienced SAP Business and Technology Architect to lead the alignment of business strategy with SAP technology solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP’s latest offerings (S/4HANA, BTP, Integration Suite, Fiori, etc.), combined with a strategic mindset to guide enterprise transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor to both the business and IT stakeholders, helping architect scalable, secure, and future-proof SAP landscapes.
What You Will Get To Do:
- Serve as the lead architect for SAP solutions across functional and technical domains. Design end-to-end SAP architecture including core modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, etc.) and advanced platforms (SAP BTP, S/4HANA, SAC, CPI).
- Translate business requirements into technical architecture and integration strategies. Lead architecture governance and ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards.
- Guide data strategy, analytics, and integration using SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Evaluate new SAP technologies, perform fit-gap analysis, and support roadmap planning.
- Support pre-sales, RFPs, and business case development for SAP initiatives.
- Mentor implementation teams and provide guidance on solution design and best practices.
What You Bring To The Team:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 12+ years of experience in SAP, including 3+ years in an architecture or leadership role.
- Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA (Public, Private Clouds), SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and integration tools (e.g., PI/PO, CPI).
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori, ABAP, and extensibility options in cloud/hybrid models.
- Proven ability to drive business transformation using SAP solutions.
- Experience in SAP landscape strategy, security, performance, and scalability planning.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with C-level stakeholders.
- Experience with S/4HANA implementations following different approaches: "Greenfield," "Brownfield," and "Bluefield".
- Preferred candidates will reside in Michigan or neighboring states. Some travel may be required.
Additional Skills That Make You Stand Out:
- SAP-certified Enterprise Architect or equivalent.
- Experience in multiple industry verticals such as Manufacturing, Utilities, Pharma, Automobile, or Retail.
- Knowledge of agile delivery and DevOps in SAP environments.
- Exposure to RISE with SAP, SAP Data Intelligence, SAP AI Core, and SAP Joule is a plus.
- Experience with S/4HANA migration projects is a plus.
