Saw Room Wood Production Associate
Location: 1001 Garfield Ave, Superior, WI 54880
Starting Pay: $18.00/hour
Schedule:
· Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
· Occasional overtime and possible Saturdays
· Full-time
Key Duties:
· Review production drawings and material lists
· Measure, mark, and cut wood to specifications (must read tape measure to 1/16")
· Operate a forklift to move materials
· Inspect and sort lumber for defects
· Load and label cut lumber from the conveyor to carts
· Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Preferred Experience & Skills:
· Carpentry or related woodworking experience
· Proficiency with hand tools & power tools
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements
· Knowledge of wood types and materials
· Ability to work independently or as part of a team
· Problem-solving skills
