Secure Systems is a locally owned alarm company based in Bakersfield, California. We take pride in installing high quality burglar and fire alarm systems as well as other low voltage products. We have an opening for a Scheduling Agent.
Strong skills in customer service and willingness to learn and understand operation of security and low voltage equipment. Heavy phones and the ability to juggle diverse responsibilities required while providing excellent customer service. Experience answering phones, dealing with the public and vendors required. Understanding of computer set up and technical equipment is not required, but basic understanding of network set up is critical. At least one year experience is preferred. Provide a detailed job history with chronological dates of employment when applying.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Candidate should have a high school education or equivalent. Some college, or college degree is preferred.
- Experience/Knowledge in answering phones, answering customer questions.
- Must have excellent written and verbal skills with an understanding of numbers.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs. and perform heavy and technical mechanical duties.

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Coordinate scheduling for construction related job
-Write work tickets and describe work performed.
- Assist with Purchasing and receiving parts for jobs
-Keep parts room organized
-Pull parts for upcoming jobs
-Knowledge of parts and part numbers
- Answer phones and help customers troubleshoot problems with equipment
-Basic understanding of computer systems
-Work with a variety of installers, office staff
- Receive and inspect new, used equipment.
-Basic programming of equipment
- Fill out work orders
Compensation: $23-$25 per hour depending on experience
