Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dismantler to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience with various tools and equipment. As a Dismantler, you will play a crucial role in the disassembly of vehicles and machinery, ensuring that parts are efficiently removed and prepared for reuse or recycling. This position requires attention to detail, safety awareness, and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Disassemble vehicles and machinery using hand tools and power tools.
- Identify and remove reusable components while adhering to safety protocols.
- Conduct inspections of parts for quality assurance before removal.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
- Utilize an ohmmeter for testing electrical components as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Follow all company policies regarding equipment handling and waste disposal.
Experience
- Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance or similar fields.
- Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment such as an ohmmeter.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Previous experience in dismantling or recycling is a plus but not required.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.01 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

- 8 hour shift
