Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Seafood Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while handling, preparing, and packaging seafood products.
Duties
- Assist customers with their seafood selections, providing knowledgeable recommendations and cooking tips.
- Prepare and package seafood items according to company standards, ensuring freshness and quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of the store.
- Handle seafood products with care, utilizing proper food handling techniques.
- Collaborate with team members from all departments. Such as completing special orders from customers, maintaining the front and back of the fish market clean.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking as necessary to maintain product availability.
- Previous experience in food production or preparation is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations within the food industry.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour
