Quality Propane in North Stonington, CT is looking for a dependable and efficient Seasonal Propane Customer Service Representative to join the team during the busy season. This position is the first point of contact for many customers, providing excellent service and support for all their propane needs is a must. This is a seasonal position with potential for extension or future full-time opportunities. A strong commitment to customer service and a positive team environment are valued. There will be training for this position and opportunities for growth for the right individual.
Responsibilities include but not limited to
- Answer phones and respond to emails professionally and courteously.
- Help customers with inquiries and requests, including delivery scheduling, billing questions, account maintenance and service scheduling.
- Provide information about products and services, acting as a resource for customers.
- Resolve or escalate customer issues and complaints in a timely and effective manner.
- Maintain accurate customer records and handle data entry, service billing and other tasks as assigned.
- Communicate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong customer service and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Proficiency in computer skills and ability to learn new software applications.
- Ability to handle high call volumes and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- A positive, professional attitude and ability to be a team player.
- Attention to detail.
- At least two years in an office environment.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
