Job Description
General Summary Of Duties:
Make contact with all Hotel/Casino Team Members and Vendors when they come through the team member entrance. Perform proactive and enforcement functions in a courteous and restrained manner in coping with emergencies, undesired conduct, disturbances, and threats to life and/or property to maintain a safe and secure environment.
Role and Responsibilities: (Includes but is not limited to the following)
- Ability to greet all team members and vendors coming in through the team member entrance and check for non-clear bags as well as check the contents of non-clear bags.
- Ability to verify if team members are active team members and issue procedural violations when needed.
- Ability to verify contractors, issue and track vendor badges and collect all issued at the end of their workday.
- Ability to confirm items on package passes are items taken off property by team members.
- Ability to assist Team Member Services with current and potential team members needing assistance.
- Any other duties assigned by members of management.
Qualifications
Performance Requirements: (Knowledge, SKILLS, and abilities)
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language clearly to ascertain and document important information, to follow written and/or verbal instructions, to provide clear direction/guidance and to communicate with others.
- Social skills as demonstrated by the ability to listen and respond to team members or management inquiries/concerns using a positive, clear speaking voice, answering questions, and/or offering assistance, giving accurate information regarding plans, policies, or procedures within guidelines.
- Ability to perform duties within hot to normal to cold temperature ranges and unfavorable conditions which can occasionally be noisy and wet.
- Possess physical strength required for the job, consistent with a medium work level, as defined by the US Department of Labor.
- Knowledge of safety/security practices and procedures including C.P.R, emergency first aid, semi-automatic defibrillator, and basic emergency fire equipment.
- Basic mathematical skills necessary to verify/balance reports and perform simple calculations.
- Ability to maintain attendance in conformance with standards.
- Ability to maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.

Education Requirements
- Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and ability.
- Ability to obtain/renew all government required licenses or certifications (Gaming Work Permit; Alcohol Awareness Certificate; Valid Driver’s License; First Aid and Adult, Infant and Child CPR Certificates). Certified in the proper use of the semi-automatic defibrillator and handcuffing procedures.
